Change Analyst / Change Manager – SAP

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ITIL certified Change Analyst / Change Manager – SAP, to join a leading FTSE100 organisation working within a large scale, complex environment.

The Change Analyst / Change Manager – SAP will be responsible for the introduction of all change into the production environment and BAU environments. Ensuring necessary due diligence has been performed to ensure the risk of change implementation has been mitigated.

The Change Analyst / Change Manager – SAP will act as the gatekeeper for the production environment to ensure changes are successfully implemented.

You will demonstrate significant stakeholder management skills, working with internal teams, and outsourced suppliers to own the change management process, validate change requests, move change requests through various stages and approvals, and chair weekly change advisoryboards (CAB) / meetings.

This role will be working within the Enterprise Systems environment (SAP), of one of the worlds largest organisations, and as such will require candidates who can demonstrate experience of working in large, complex, global blue-chip environments, with a particular knowledge of SAP. You will work with Service Delivery managers, Subject matter Experts and Outsourced providers, to ascertain whether Change requests are justified, and how they will affect the production and BAU environments.

Skills required for this role include:
** Practical knowledge of Change, Asset and Configuration management gained in a complex environment.
** Must have good SAP background and understanding. Can show SAP applications experience and knowledge of the challenges and opportunities presented in delivering applications management services in a global multi-instance SAP environment.
** Experience of working within an ITIL framework and processes with successful outcomes within a large scale global SAP/service management environment.
**Significant Stakeholder management skills, this includes being able to manage multiple stakeholders expectations, as well as the confidence and communication skills to challenge stakeholders where appropriate.
**Change management experience within an ITIL envrionment. This is not a behavioural / project / organisational change management role, but a Change management position around the support and maintenance of applications.
